This is a very tasty and simple recipe for a classic favorite.

INGREDIENTS
- 1 ½ pound green beans, cut
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 1 Tablespoon nutmeg
- Salt and pepper to taste
INSTRUCTIONS
- Cook beans in a sauce pan half full of water. When they turn bright green, they’re finished. Strain them and set aside.
- In a skillet, heat the butter and oil over a medium-high heat and add the well-drained
- beans. Add the salt and pepper to taste and sauté them for about 2 to 3 minutes. Add nutmeg and sauté another minute or so. Beans should be crisp and tender.
