How many of us spend a lot of money on our beautiful high heels and get to wear them a couple times a year if you’re lucky and the other 363 days a year they just sit in the closet. Here is a way that you can display a few of them (or all of them).
Not all shoes are created equal—which means wear-only-for-special-occasions heels often get short shrift. But instead of keeping them out of sight in shoe boxes, use crown molding along the back wall of your closet (or even on the inside of the door) in one or multiple rows to create shoe organizers. Just 30 inches of molding can hold four pairs of shoes.
Materials you’re going to need are:
- · 1 piece of Crown Molding
- · 1 can of Spray Paint or Paint and a Paint Brush
- · 2-3 Screws and Drywall Anchors
Directions
1. Cut the crown molding to size, sand it smooth.
2. Paint it, let it dry and hang it.
