Not-so-secret fact: I’m a sucker for pizza. And I’m willing to try almost any variation.Watermelon pizza? I’m in. Cauliflower crust? Let’s do this. Mini eggplant pizzas? Um, yes.
So I’d like to introduce you to my newest obsession, savory pumpkin pizza. And I now know how to make it in half an hour.

Ingredients
- 1 Pizza dough
- 1 sweet onion diced
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 can pumpkin puree
- teaspoon ¼ground nutmeg
- 1 shallot diced
- cup ½Parmesan cheese
- 2 teaspoons thyme
- salt and pepper

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Start with a (shh…I won’t tell anyone). Shape the dough in a flat, round disc on a large baking sheet or pizza stone.
- Make the pumpkin sauce mixture. Sauté one diced sweet onion and 1 teaspoon sugar in a saucepan. Add it to a mixing bowl with 1 can pumpkin puree, ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg, 1 diced shallot, ½ cup Parmesan cheese, 2 teaspoons thyme and salt and pepper. Mix until smooth, then spread the pumpkin mixture onto the pizza dough.
